Okay, Crazy4Cult4: the Case of the Redundant Number!  Tada!  Tarantara! Enough of that.

Last Friday night was the opening of Crazy4Cult4 at Gallery1988, and it was bananas! Crazy, crowded, I met Martin Starr, I heard Seth Greene was there, but couldn’t see him over the crowd, the line went around the block – bananas!

It was so crowded, it was  hard to get a close look at a lot of the work, and almost impossible to say hello to Jensen, Amber, Katie, and co.  I went back the next day to get a couple prints – I was not fighting with the crowd – and get some shots.

It’s a Question of Simian Survival by Scott Listfield
Deflowered by Jason Hernandez
There Was a Mighty Duel by Drake Brodahl
Goodbye Loompa Land by APAK
Die Satansweiber von Tittfield and Faster Pussycat by Netherland

While these are many of my favorites, there’s so much more cool work, I could have shot every piece, but you can go to the show until the end of the month, or, if you’re not in LA you can view it all online.

Oh, and, uhm, Kevin Smith bought my piece.  I’m just sayin’ is all… I mean, I can recite Jay and Silent Bob Strike Back, so…

And finally, Gallery1988 San Francisco will be hosting Crazy4Cult: Customs – all plush, vinyl, and 3D work – in September.  I’m doing Heathers, ya’ll!! Woot!  So look out SF peeps, I’m blowing through town the first weekend of Sept.
