I was lucky enough to see Amanda Palmer perform again this week. She blows me away. During the opening performances – Jherek Bishoff, amazing in his own right – there was a box in the lobby asking you to write a secret, something bad or sad that had happened in your room. During the performance she read them aloud, recording them, then played them back while singing Yaz’s “In My Room.” It gives me chills even now.
