So it seems art shows in Motels are tres d’jour; here’s where I’ll be showing my dirty pillows this weekend:
We all know it, let’s just accept it. I’m in a dirty show, The Dirty Show, actually, and this one’s over the top. Sounds like a bacchanalia if you ask me, not that you did, but you’re reading this, aren’t you? It’s this weekend, June 11 & 12, here in LA, downtown at the City Center Hotel, from 7-11pm both nights. I’ll be there selling dirty pillows and some seriously pornographic needle points.
Continuing the roll out of the line, here’s my dirty pillows, for this go around:

Thanks are due to the inimitable Helen Killer, aka April Winchell, whose birthday it just happens to be. April featured my pillows in the super hilarious, photo shopped picture of Martha, on New Year’s Eve, garnering me over 18 thousand views, at last look. Wow!!
You can believe she’s getting a giftie from me. I’ll post pics once she’s received it.
Done and done. You won’t see the transaction on etsy, couldn’t for the life of me figure out the overseas shipping thing and he kept getting an error message, but we handled it privately through paypal, and he is now the proud owner of:

I’m setting up my Etsy store, and I’ve been reading the rules and regs; good thing I did. They have rules about the listing of explicit materials. I can show photos of the works, as a whole, only in the secondary and tertiary photographs, the primary photo can’t depict sexual images. I’m glad I found out before all of my listings got flagged.
So, I took new photos this morning, close ups and clean bits. It became a sort of game and challenge; some pieces were harder than others. Here, then, are some more, cleaner, teasers…
