I went out to art shows last night; met the fabulous Jose Rudolfo Loaiza Ontiveros, who is as sweet as he is talented, at De La Luz. Great, eclectic show of the artists who were break out stars at the Kitchen Sink Show. I bought a piece by the sensational Click Mort, who makes fucked up Hummels; here she is, Little Girl Harpy:

Got myself over to Jesus de la Luz the other day, to check out their yearly Kitchen Sink show. Too much good for one post, so I’ll just show the artist I fell most in love with today, and the couple of fiber things tomorrow.
For today’s love, holy hell, do I need to find out more about, and get a piece of art by, Jose Rodolfo Loaiza Ontiveros (and what a great name)! I’m so glad (sad) all of his pieces sold before I got there and spent money I shouldn’t, because I would have bought all four.
